Artemisa

Artemisa earned the province status in 2010 when the greater Havana province was divided into two. The main tourist sites are Las Terrazas and Soroa. Las Terrazas is the first ecological village of the country and Soroa, also known as ‘Cuba’s Rainbow’, has been established upon the island’s oldest coffee plantations, which are no longer in production. These two regions are the most practical alternatives for nature tourism due to their close proximity to Havana.
